RILEY, FRED A. - Peacefully at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital, Smiths Falls Site on Tuesday July 13, 2010. Fred Riley of Newboyne, in his 90th year. Loved Son of the Late Stanley and Leafie (Hutchings) Riley. Beloved husband of Mary Allen. Dear Step-father of Garry (Sharon) Allen of Toledo. Predeceased by brother, George Riley and by sister, Gertrude Baker. Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Mary Lee (Darren) Johnston and Greg (Jennifer) Allen as well as great-grandchildren, Abigail, Avery and Leah. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family received friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service was held in the Chapel on Friday July 16, 2010 at 1 o’clock. Interment St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Newboyne. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
