Break-in at Perth business

EMC News - On Saturday, March 6 at approximately 4:53 a.m., Perth Police received information that a break and enter was in progress at a Gore Street East business. Upon police arrival a 16-year-old Perth area youth was taken into custody. A search of the premises was conducted but police were unable to locate the second suspect. Shortly after, information was received regarding the whereabouts of the second individual. Police attended and subsequently arrested a 15-year-old Perth area youth.

The 16-year-old youth was charged with attempted break and enter and will attend Youth Court in Smiths Falls on April 7. The youth was released on a promise to appear and undertaking with conditions.

The 15-year-old youth was held for a bail hearing. The youth was charged with attempted break and enter, two breaches of probation and two breaches of undertaking.
