Award-winning Blues duo coming to Perth in March

Tweet ThisEMC Entertainment - "The best of the blues" is coming to Perth's Studio Theatre March 13.
The 200-seat theatre will host the duo of Rick Fines and Suzie Vinnick starting at 8 p.m. Concert-goers can look forward to an evening of acoustic blues by two award-winning Canadian artists. Fines, who has worked with Peterborough-based blues duo Jackson Delta, won the Maple Blues Award for songwriter of the year in 2009, while Vinnick, a saskatoon native now living in Toronto, was named Maples Blues female vocalist of the year for 2008. She was also nominated for a 2009 Juno award in the roots category. Tickets will sell for $21.50 in advance or $25 at the door, and are available at Shadowfax in Perth or Dawn's Closet in Smiths Falls. Tickets can also be charged by calling 1-800-518-2729. Proceeds of the evening will support the Walk for ALS.
