HST information should be free

I wish to protest the fact that the Perth District Chamber of Commerce deems it necessary to charge $15 per person for the right to attend a question and answer session on Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).
We as Canadian citizens have the right to be informed of the seemingly objectionable tax (8 to 14 per cent). So far facts regarding the HST on the internet are sporadic, very unclear and in concise.
For constituents and taxpayers to be charged a fee is criminal and reprehensible. If you agree, please send letters of protest to Mayor John Fenik at the Perth Town Hall.
